Birthday Card from @

My birthday passed 2 days ago. I received yet another card 10 minutes ago - lying on my bed. What a sweet suprise! It was sent by the elf and this elf, of course...has to be cheeky Kara ( my roomie )!! The card is really cute, very funky indeed, as I guess that represents me :) Yes..but what really amused me was the envelope. I dont know who got it but when I first picked the card up, I thought it was a Chinese New Year greetings card, as the envelope does look like one!!! haha...whoever chose the envelope would certainly not be a Chinese!! You would agree with me, if you seen it. :) Anyway, from the bottom of my heart, it is a lovely feeling to receive something, especially when you least expected. Thank you so much DHL folks.

Capture that great moment...

means capturing expressions..capturing faces of most cherish ones. Seriously I have no reasons to write my blog because I abandon it for a long time and not really expecting any readers. Well, the only influencing factor now is that I have formed a very close female bond and I do really want these memories to last. How?? Here I am. I hope a short pen or picture will simply do the trick! I know these gals are not reading but I just want to thank them anyway. Kara, Tanya, Erika and Regina!! They are so amazing, so true, and ever so willing to extend their arms, their souls for anything..for friendship! I am deeply touched.

Ever since I got to Singapore, my collection of pictures went through a sudden change. No more gothic cathedral or heaps of mountains, it's just album of pictures of people I met!!!! No kidding! Only my friends and not more! And I realised how true that they do say million of words. Thank you so much..

Applause! 1st blog after 5months of my 2nd traineeship! :

I landed up writing because of Jon! I was fascinated reading Jon's blog, as it reminded me so much while I was travelling quite a bit in Europe! I am now back in Asia, specifically in Singapore working. What's interesting in Singapore? Sadly , being an Asian myself, I dont know much about the country. To me, it is always the people that matter most! I first arrived and met my AIESEC buddy. I put up with my sister for almost 3 months, and slowly blended into the trainees community. I got an immediate culture shock ! It is completely different to whatever experiences I had with other trainees groups! I changed a little, to certain extend! Then, I moved into a fabulous new condo close to the Reservoir area, with 2 trainees, one from Oh, Canada and the other from the Armed, Kenya! I am now contented with the simple life I have. Close bonded galfriends, some parties with Mexicans and Romanians, revive the gool ol times with my KL-mates, give my parents 'pee-ka-boo' (suprise visit) once in a while, travel with leisure, and last but not least keep in close contact with fantastico people I met in Switzerland! :)
