Bern, Switz capital came from Bear

I headed down to Bern, capital city of Switz which is an hour from Zurich. Check out the photos. Very preserved and protected city. We went up the hills, much sense of relaxation and tranquility to enjoy here. We were able to catch a glimpse of the stupendous Alps and on the lower ground, there were all shades of green and widely scattered farms.

This swiss capital is also somehow Einstein's one-stop worship centre. Einstein's face and name adorn all manner of things in Bern.You see his picture and monuments everywhere, from jewellery shops to restaurants to train stations. I was so puzzled. Yes, he was living in Bern 100 years ago and developed his theory of special relativity but what does it have to do with business? It is ok for museum to honour the physicist but what about business?! Really haven't got a glue...

If you not know, bern came from bear in German. Long long time ago..a warrior compromised that the city will be named after the first animal he killed. He got attacked by a Bear, so subsequently this was how you got Bern!!


Bear will best describe Bern :)
